Who we are
Twerk After Work™ is a dance class in London, run by Bam Bam Boogie. When this page says we, it means Bam Bam Boogie.
We decide how your details are used. UK data law calls that being the data controller. To reach us about anything on this page, email [email protected].
What we collect
It depends on what you do. We only collect what we need to run a class.

Why we use it
UK law asks us to have a reason for each use. Here are ours.
- To run the class you booked. We check you in and tell you if a class changes. The reason is our contract with you.
- To answer you. When you write to us, we use your message to reply. The reason is our fair interest in running the business well.
- To keep this site safe and working. The reason is the same fair interest.
- To show what a class is like. We film and take photos so new people can see the room. The reason is the same fair interest, and you can opt out every time.
- To send you news and offers. Only if you asked for them. The reason is your consent, and you can stop them from any email.
- To see which adverts work. Only if you said yes to cookies. The reason is your consent.
- To keep tax records. The reason is that the law tells us to.
Filming at classes
Small parts of a class may be filmed or photographed. We use the clips on this site, on our social pages and in our adverts.
You can opt out. Tell us when you arrive and we will keep you out of shot.
Seen yourself in something we posted and want it gone? Email us and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
- Bookings. For as long as we need them to run the class, and to keep the tax records the law asks for.
- Messages. Until your question is dealt with. We clear old ones out from time to time.
- Films and photos. Until we stop using them, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Website logs. Our host sets how long these are kept.
Your rights
Your details are yours. Under UK data law you can ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold on you
- fix anything that is wrong
- delete your details
- stop or limit how we use them
- pass them to you or to someone else in a form you can reuse
- stop sending you news, at any time

Age
Classes are for people aged 18 and over. This site is not made for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
